Speaker / Presenter
Share your voice at Next Democracy. Tell us about yourself and what you’d like to present. For lightning talks, we’re shortening them to 4 minutes (from 5 due to the level of interest and to have more people be able to share!), though if you can share your insights in 3 minutes, then please only take 3. If you need a bit more time talk to Alexander. 🙂 (Accepted speakers will get an email with more info.)
Slides are allowed (encouraged), and should be shared with Alexander by 5pm on Friday, preferably via Google Slides.
Lightning talks are not intended to only be “pitches”, but to spark ideas for civic engagement and mobilization, share lessons learned, share challenges/requests for help, etc. By default they’re “soft pitches”, and maybe 1-2 minutes of “pitching” is ok, we want to give visibility to people doing good positive democracy work, but the goal is to give energy, inspiration, and ideas to dive into further during the unconference sessions. And all speakers are invited and encouraged to propose unconference sessions as well!
